Select an image file you want to mount, and then click “Mount” (green triangle button), the virtual CD drive will work as good as a real CD drive.Well, I supposed it was obvious I tried to remove the virtual drive using the program instead the gadget. One strange thing, the drive is configured with a Microsoft driver, as you can see : S Is there a possibility to configure the virtual drive with a DT driver and check if DT recognize it? Also, is there any registry key that I can modify/delete to solve this issue? "DAEMON Tools Virtual Bus Driver" device will appear. Run it and click "Uninstall" to uninstall SPTD driver. In "Update Driver" wizard select "yes, this time only" and update the driver.(Note: For the virtual drive to take effect, kindly reboot it.) 9.After the reboot, your computer will have a message dialog updating virtual devices, then afterwards, you can check on your taskbar notification, you will see the daemon tools lite icon.

I can live with this as is, but annoying that I can't "have it my way" Please open Device Manager and check DT virtual drives' status. Then unfold System Devices in the right side of the window and find "Unknown" device.Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number The Beast Model V (homebrew) OS Win X Pro x64 IP v14986 CPU Core i7 965 EE @3.6 GHz Motherboard e VGA x58 Classified3 Memory 3 * 4GB Mushkin Enh Redline CL7 DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3-12800) Graphics Card e VGA GTX 970 e VGA GTX 560 Ti 448 Core Classified (Phys X) Sound Card Realtek HD Audio (on-board) Monitor(s) Displays 2 * Lenovo LT2323pw A Screen Resolution 2 @ 1920 * 1080 Keyboard Logitech G15 (gen 2) Mouse Logitech MX Master PSU Thermaltake Black Widow TX TR2 850W 80 Bronze Smei-Mod ATX Case Thermal Take Level 10 GT (Black) Cooling Corsair H100 (CPU) Air (2 * 210 mm 3 * 120mm fans) Hard Drives San Disk Ultra SDSSDHII-960G-G25 960 GB SATA III SSD (System) Crucial MX100 CT256MX100SSD1 256GB SATA III SSD (User Tree) 2 * Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA II Mech.HD Seagate ST3500320AS Barracuda 7200.11 500 GB SATA II Internet Speed Cable: 180 Mbit down / 15 Mbit up Antivirus Windows Defender MB 3 Browser Nightly|Chrome|Canary|IE11|Edge|Vivaldi|Opera/βeta/Dev Other Info 3 VMs built off IP 14971: UUP disabled / single VHD | UUP disabled / dual VHDs with moved \User Tree | UUP enabled / single VHD I got Daemon tools working fine.
